If a visitor leaves a comment on the site, we collect the data indicated in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent data for the purpose of spam detection.

An anonymized string generated from your email address (“hash”) is provided to the Gravatar service to determine if you are using it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/ . Once a comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible in the context of your comment.
